Meal Options

Food is a vital part of our day-to-day life. But not everyone eats in the same way or at the same time. Our new meal options give you the flexibility you need to find the plan that serves your needs.

Meal plans (card swipe per meal) can be used in the new Battenberg Caf茅, while Flexible Dining Dollars can be used at any campus food service venue.

New Block Meal Plans Available

The new Block Meal Plans will allow you to eat an allotted number of meals at the Battenberg Cafe with the swipe of your ID card.  You can use as many of your meal swipes as you like during any meal period, providing you the opportunity to swipe in guests, if desired.

The available plans are as follows and can be purchased through KU Wallet:

  • 5 Block Plan - $67.00
  • 10 Block Plan - $128.00
  • 20 Block Plan - $244.00

Block meals will not expire at the end of the term in which it was purchased but at the end of the academic calendar, spring term.

*First-year students living in Thompson Hall are required to purchase one of the two Meal Plan A options which are designed to meet dining needs for the academic term. Additional flexible dining plans can be added.

Flexible Dining Dollars and meal plans (card swipe per meal) expire at the end of the term.

Note: Limited Dining Services using dining dollars are available during long no class weekends.
